Rose Whip

This is the rose whip I made for my Rose cosplay back at Banzai '08 (I'll be using it again for another character as well ^^) It is based off of Kurama's rose whip as Rose is a female clone of him ^^ {She is from YYH Beyond! --> [link] <--}

I took a life looking floral plant I bought from the craft store. I was just a stem with two extensions (no flowers) but the texture was so life-like (I know, the camera doesn't capture that much detail ToT) of the stem of a rose.

I then took a garland and pulled off all the leaves attached to it. The plastic stubs they were attached to makes excellent thorns XD

Then I wrapped the end of the stem with the garland and securred it with a little bit of hot glue.

I also amputated the extra appendages from the stem and saved them to make roses --> [link] <--

What I got was a plastic whip that is very responsive to wrist movements! It was also the 'most interesting' weapon security had to check at the convention XD

This rose whip can be interchangable with Rose, Kurama, or other characters that can manipulate plants.
